| Established in the early 2006, Seven Blue Art Land Studio (SBALS) is a design, comic & illustration studio consisting of five individuals based in Jakarta, Indonesia. With their various backgrounds and their enduring passion for comic art, SBALS aims to encourage the growth of comic (and what is considered comic) art in Indonesia.
Best known for publishing SPLASH, a local comic anthology of manga-influenced works, we also work together with various local & international individuals, communities and organisations. Actively involved in all levels in production and distribution, SBALS also regularly held and collaborated in various workshops, exhibitions and lectures. |
