About:
Graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York City, she has worked for a number of national and international level clients.  Her work ranges from communication design, comics, character design to illustrations.

S Y S is famous for being the creator of SANG SAYUR (sŭng sŭ-yoor), her celebrated comic series on the colorful daily lives of the fruits and vegetables characters.  The series was nominated for 2007 International Manga Award by Japan’s Foreign Ministry, lead by Asou Tarou.  It was also the only Indonesian entry that penetrated the competition’s long list of nominees.

Her passion for Japanese animation (anime) and comics (manga) has been growing ever since her first exposure to Candy Candy back in the 80’s.  Since then, there is no stopping her!
