SPLASH Maqita Magazine

SPLASH Maqita Magazine agazine is a quarterly Indonesian local comic anthology that contains Japanese-comic (manga)-influenced works by Indonesian comic writers. Launched in August 2006 as a pioneer medium of local comic industry, SPLASH strives to establish the unique identity of manga-style Indonesian comics and their writers by canonizing the words MAQITA (Manga Kita, Our Manga) to describe these comics and MAQININ for their writers.

SPLASH magazine aims to be one of the leading forces in the thriving comic and creative industries, both locally and internationally, as well as to develop and diversify Indonesian professional comic works.
